School meals are
back from our new Hungry Heads' Kitchen.
This was the last
area in the school to be repaired and refurbished after the
flooding last June. |
BACK TO SCHOOL!
After massive effort from all
those involved, the school reopened on September 6th, with all of the
children back on the school site!

Water, water everywhere!!
On Friday 15th June 2007 the local area suffered its worst
floods for many years and the school was on the edge of the area
which suffered the most.
The junior playground became a lake!
Unfortunately, worse was to come!

On 25th June, the heavy rain
again brought flooding and this time the whole school was
affected, with floodwater in every part of the school.
For the last few weeks of term the whole school moved into
Wolfreton School, our local secondary school
Major work took place over the summer holiday and in September
2007 we reopened, with most of the school's classrooms available
and more work ahead to complete the flood recovery project!
