On a warm summer night at the start of the holiday, the school received some uninvited visitors when a hot air balloon landed in the school field.  By total coincidence, the balloon passengers included Dr Bennett's mother and auntie!  The pilot had landed the balloon in the school field to avoid crossing over the River Humber.

The balloon is unrolled in Beverley. The balloon is inflated. The crew is given their briefing. Just before take off. Up, up...and away - heading for Hull! The balloon over Hull. Oops!  The balloon lands safely in the school field!
