In May 2005 the school held a special week, with activities all based around the countries of Asia.
The children enjoyed the tastes of Asia, heard stories from different countries, experienced Indian dancing and came face to face with some of the animals found in Asia. The school even appeared on television, when Yorkshire TV's Calendar programme filmed the Indian dancing.
Thanks to all of the staff, children, parents and friends of the school who helped to make it such a fantastic week.
Thanks also to Shanta, the Indian
dancer from Annapurna Dance
and to Zoolab for bring in snakes and
spiders for the children to meet.
The following pictures give a flavour of Asia Week.
