1899
All the children in Years 1 and 2 took part in a Victorian Day in October.
Their parents really went to town in sending them to school in their best Victorian style
clothing and their teachers also dressed up for the day.
Victorian lessons went on throughout the day and included copperplate handwriting and drill. Even the assembly was Victorian in style. The schoolchildren were honoured by a visit from the Chairman of the Board of Governors and the local newspaper during the day.
